Summary: Three state junior programs will be represented at the U.S. National Development Program event at SentryWorld in July.
This summer—on July 3–4—we’ll host our second U.S. National Development Program (USNDP) competition: The 2026 USNDP Midwest Sentry Showcase! The USNDP, began by the USGA, is the United States’ first national development program to provide a clear and unified pathway for the next generation of talented golfers. Sentry®, our parent company, is the Official Insurance Partner of the USGA. We’re honored to host this event at SentryWorld.

2026 USNDP Midwest Sentry Showcase
This two-day team event features state junior teams from the USNDP representing Ohio, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The USNDP state junior program was created to expand, strengthen, and diversify the junior golf pipeline by creating critical development, competitive, and talent identification opportunities within each state for elite athletes ages 13–18.
Rosters are selected in close collaboration with the USGA, its Allied Golf Associations (AGAs), and the PGA of America sections, along with relevant state junior programs in each state.
Past and future USGA events
Our involvement with the USGA is growing. In 2023, we hosted a thrilling U.S. Senior Open, with Bernhard Langer the eventual winner and very competitive performances by Wisconsin’s own Steve Stricker and Jerry Kelly, who finished second and third, respectively.
In 2024, we hosted the USNDP U.S. National Junior Team as they competed against their Australian counterparts—the first event of the USGA's new development program.
Future USGA events we'll host at SentryWorld include:
2028 U.S. Senior Women’s Open
2034 U.S. Senior Open
We’re proud to be continually recognized as a championship-level golf course!
