Whether you’re warming up before you play 18 holes, practicing your drive or short game, or taking a lesson, our practice facilities and driving ranges offer an abundance of activity-specific spaces and leading-edge amenities year-round.

Warm-up tee

Just off the first tee, it’s the ideal spot to stretch, take a few swings, and get in a few good-natured jabs with your playing partners before hitting the course.

Practice tee

A variety of targets—including multiple flagsticks, greens, and bunkers—let you work on your swing in a course-like environment, providing options to fit whatever club you’re working on. Practice tees feature plush bentgrass on par with the course fairways and tees.

Greenside bunker

The short game practice area includes a greenside bunker—you try to avoid them on the course, but might as well practice getting out of one of them, just in case.

Fairway bunker

Not all fairway space is friendly. The practice area includes a fairway bunker so you can practice now and play better later.

Putting green

Did last night’s rain soften up the greens? Find out on a large practice putting green that mimics current course conditions. Its expansive area allows you to work on long and short putts on numerous holes crossing a variety of slopes.

Chip uphill, chip downhill, chip until you get it right. Master the short game in the practice area and impress your playing partners on the course.

For lessons, practice is conducted in a private area with all the amenities SentryWorld has to offer—an ideal environment for learning.

Golf simulator

Test your skills on several legendary courses—all from the climate-controlled comfort of our indoor golf simulator. You can also try target practice games or just see how far you can drive the ball.

Hours:
Winter hours (Labor Day–Memorial Day): Everyday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m., based on Fieldhouse availability
Summer hours (Memorial Day–Labor Day): Everyday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m., based on Fieldhouse availability

Golf simulator rates: $55/hour ($27.50/half hour)

Indoor range

The weather doesn’t dictate when you can practice at SentryWorld. The indoor range allows you to work on any part of your game, including putting, any time of the year.

Hours: 9 a.m.–9 p.m. daily, based on Fieldhouse availability

Rates: $8/55 balls, $12/110 balls
