Summary: Is pickleball your game? We’re holding our first Pickleball Open! Get your team together and register today.

Qualifying events: February 5–7 and February 26–28
Championship: March 12–14

We’re excited to host our inaugural SentryWorld Pickleball Open! This competition will be held at our Fieldhouse and will feature doubles teams in Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Divisions. After each qualifying event, the top teams from each division will be invited to compete in the championship event in March with no additional registration fee.

TOURNAMENT REQUIREMENTS

All players must have an established Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) and provide it when registering. Each player's DUPR score will be averaged together for the team and used to determine seeding for the tournament.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Women’s and Men’s Divisions:

16-team limit for each division at each qualifying event.

  • Assuming a full field, doubles teams will be seeded in 4 pools.

  • Teams will play each team in a match that consists of the best of 3 games to 11 in each pool.

  • Teams will then be placed into either the Gold or Silver Rounds based on results:

    • Gold Round: Gold Round top teams will compete to advance, with the top two teams from each pool invited to the championship event.

    • Silver Round: Silver Round top teams will compete for Silver Round championship only (no prize awarded for this championship).

Mixed Division:

32-team limit at each qualifying event.

  • Assuming a full field, doubles teams will be seeded in 8 pools.

  • Teams will play each team in a match that consists of the best of 3 games to 11 in each pool.

  • Teams will then be placed into either the Gold or Silver Rounds based on results:

    • Gold Round: Gold Round top teams will compete to advance, with the top two teams from each pool invited to the championship event.

    • Silver Round: Silver Round top teams will compete for qualifying tournament championship only (no prize awarded for this championship).

ENTRY FEE:

$195 per player (includes welcome dinner, breakfast, and lunch, beverages during tournament and two dinner drink tickets). Discounted hotel rooms at The Inn are available for an additional cost. Contact The Inn at SentryWorld for details: 715-345-1600.

Championship prizes (per team - based on full field)*

*Prize amount based on participation and tiered dependent on division registration. See official rules for details. Payment is made per team by check.

Men’s and Women’s Divisions

  • 1st place: $2,000

  • 2nd place: $1,000

  • 3rd place: $600

Mixed Division

  • 1st place: $3,000

  • 2nd place: $1,800

  • 3rd place: $1,200

  • 4th place: $600

  • 5th place: $400

  • 6th place: $200
