An important message to our guests as we continue to navigate the coronavirus pandemic

Added December 19, 2020

To our valued guests, business partners, and the Stevens Point community—

As we approach the new year, I want to provide an update on our reopening plans for SentryWorld.

I’m sure you’ve been following the news on COVID-19 and the impact it’s had on Wisconsin—particularly central Wisconsin. Unfortunately, cases have continued to rise in recent weeks, with no real sign of improvement. I’m encouraged by the news that vaccines are being distributed in the state. I also recognize it will take time for the vaccine programs to take full effect.

Based on these factors, we’ve determined not to reopen SentryWorld properties until at least the end of the first quarter of 2021. This includes PJ’s, Muse, the golf course and Pro Shop, banquets and events, the Fieldhouse, and the Sentry Theater.

As we navigate toward an official reopening date, I can assure you we remain focused on reducing the spread of COVID-19 to our associates, guests, and community. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Wishing you a safe and happy new year!

Mike James
