An iconic Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course with a rich history, SentryWorld blazed the trail as Wisconsin’s first destination golf course. Owned and operated by Sentry Insurance and created through the vision of its then CEO John Joanis, the inaugural round was played on June 13, 1982 and the course quickly became famous for its world-class caliber and stunning signature “flower hole.” In 2013, the 200-acre course underwent a major renovation, seeing upgrades, improvements and changes to everything from its layout, greens, grasses and bunkers to its irrigation system, water features and even the onsite sports complex. Sentry Insurance is proud to have renewed its commitment to the community by investing in this renovation, and SentryWorld will bloom again when it reopens in late summer 2014.

Par 72 with five sets of tees ranging from 4,674 yards on forward tees to 7,237 yards from championship tees.
The SentryWorld greens, fairways and tees feature bent grass with bluegrass roughs.
Expansive and gracious yet altogether intimate, SentryWorld offers rolling green fairways, sparkling blue waters and impeccable white sands - all the best elements of a modern parkland-style experience that any level of golfer can enjoy. According to Robert Trent Jones Jr., the re-imagined course will help maintain the integrity of this legacy course while adding more diversity and drama, including longer par 4's and also a drivable one or two.
SentryWorld has long been known for the iconic par-3 “flower hole,” a must-see attraction for any golfer. While the course renovation preserved and enhanced the iconic “flower hole,” everything else was refreshed for added variety and excitement. As part of the course renovation, SentryWorld has greatly expanded its practice facilities. The new course will feature an expanded driving range with group tees and lesson tees, a new practice putting green and a new short game practice area. In addition to the course improvements, the sports center and event facility have been completely reimagined and renovated. Those improvements extend outside and include a new patio with fire pits, a coffee bar and power charging stations, as well as a rooftop event lawn overlooking the 18th green.
With a complete overhaul in 2013, the SentryWorld clubhouse offers all the comforts and conveniences you would expect from a modern, world-class golf facility, along with panoramic views of the parkland-style surroundings.
Owned and operated by Sentry Insurance, management for SentryWorld is handled by a dedicated in-house team of qualified, experienced professionals.
